DAY 1: (Oct

DAY 2: (Oct 12) Morning
orientation and
Feng Shui Training sessionwith Helen and James Jay.
Tour Tian An Men Square
and after lunch, wander the famous ancient architecture of the Forbidden City.
DAY 3:(Oct 13) Visit a Jade
Factory and learn about the various
types of jade found in China.
Travel to the awe-inspiring Ming
Tombs and the Sacred Way. After lunch,
view the sunset from the fabled Great
Wall.
DAY 4: (Oct 14) Morning Feng Shui
Training session. Pilgrimage
to Yong He GongTemple(LamaTemple)
of Tibetan Buddhism. This is one of the most colorful temples in
China.
It is also the temple where Professor
Thomas Lin Yun, leader of the
contemporary Black Sect Tantric Buddhism, began his Buddhist studies
with Lama Da De at the age of six! Helen and James will lecture at the
site on Black Sect Feng Shui. After lunch we will tour the famed
ConfuciusTemple.
This serene location is the home of
early Daoism and Feng Shui in China.
Afterward, enjoy a fascinating rickshaw tour of Beijing’s
famous Hutong District.
See the ancient home design still in existence in modern Beijing.
DAY 5: (Oct 15)
Morning visit to the
Temple of Heaven where ancient Ming Emperors made an annual pilgrimage
to pray for bountiful harvests. This is one of the most well preserved
examples of the grand Ming style of architecture imbued with Feng
Shui. After lunch we will visit a Silk Factory to witness the ancient
art of weaving silk from the silk worm cocoons. Enjoy a
free afternoon in the capitol city until dinner. After
dinner, take in the exciting Shao Lin Kung Fu Show.
DAY 6:
(Oct 16) Beijing-Datong Transfer by coach to Datong home of the famed Hanging Monastery
clinging to the sheer cliff of the Jixia
Gorge. Yugang Int'l Hotel 2 nights.
DAY 7: (Oct 17) Feng Shui
Training session. We
will travel 10 miles southwest of Datong to tour the World Heritage Site Yungang Grottoes and the
more than 51,000 Buddhist statues. They are an outstanding example of
the Chinese stone carvings from the 5th and 6th centuries. All
together the site is composed of 252 grottoes all containing the
stone-carved Buddhist statues.
DAY 8: (Oct 18) Travel by coach to Sacred Wutai Mountain, one of the four
holy mountains of China. We will visit the ancient Ying Xian Wood
Pagoda built in 1056 on the way to Wutai. Transfer to Wufeng Hotel for
2 nights. Free afternoon and evening in Wutai Mountain.
DAY 9 (Oct
19) Morning Feng Shui Training Session.
Explore Wutai Mountain also known as Qingliang Shan. Located in Shanxi
Province is the mountain home to many of China's most important
monasteries and temples. Wutai Mountain is home to 53 sacred
monasteries and they were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in
2009. Wutai is actually comprised of five rounded peaks and one of the
peaks is the highest point in Northern China. Most of the temples have
close ties to Tibetan Buddhism and the architecture is similar to the
Himalayan plateau.
DAY 10: (Oct 20)
Travel by coach to the ancient city of Pingyao.
During the Qing Dynasty this city served as the banking center of
China and is one of the most well preserved ancient walled cities. It
is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Check into the Kylin Grand Hotel
for 2 nights.
DAY 11: (Oct 21) Morning Feng Shui
Training session. We will spend the day visiting the ancient
mansions and lively narrow streets. You will have the opportunity to
barter with street vendors for Chinese cultural treasures.
DAY 12: (Oct 22) Morning transfer to airport for
flight to Shanghai.
Transfer to the Bund Hotel for 3 nights. Free afternoon and evening.
Enjoy exploring the city this evening to try any of Shanghai’s world-class restaurants for Western
or Asian fare.
DAY 14:(Sept 28) Morning
Feng
Shui Training Session. Free afternoon
and evening for last minute shopping and preparing for departure.
DAY 13: (Oct 23)
Morning Feng
Shui Training Session.
Visit the Yuyuan
Garden
and the bordering
Old Town Bazaar, where you will find great deals on last minute
souvenirs and snacks. Free afternoon. Meet in the evening for our
farewell dinner.
DAY 15: (Sept 29)

own room or do not have a roommate, the
single supplement rate is an additional $890.00 U.S.
A $297.00 U.S. (non-refundable) deposit is required for registration. Full payment is due

TRANSPORTATION: All internal air and land transportation
are included in tour cost. Please limit
your checked baggage (44 lbs. max - and that is too much!) . We recommend traveling as
light as possible. This trip is not overly strenuous, but there will be a moderate amount
of walking and physical demands.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: All tour participants must hold a valid passport with an expiration at least
six months after the end of the tour. All passport applications, fees and visa
to China are the responsibility of the tour participant.
