This beautiful calligraphy depicts the 100 different Chinese characters for Longevity (Shou).
Drawn with black ink on natural rice paper and accented with the
artist Ben Shou Lin's personal name seals stamped in red. The rice paper
retains the original fold marks made by the artist to create a square for
each of the characters.

in mind. Combining the strokes 'to fill' (joining a 'mouth' with a
cultivated 'field', and 'one' or 'united' with 'heaven' the source of
abundance. "With coarse rice to eat, with only water to drink, and my bended
arm for a pillow, I am happy." Confucius.
